First, mix the water, coconut sugar, cinnamon stick and cloves in a medium saucepan. Turn to medium heat and stir until the coconut sugar is dissolved into the water and simmer.
Cut the orange in half and juice into the pot. Stick 6 cloves into each half of the orange peel and drop into the saucepan.
Lastly, pour in the wine and allow it to heat. Don't let it boil.
