Whole30: My 6 must haves (and a giveaway!)

If I want to have a successful Whole30, these are my top 6 items I must have. These are my quick grab and gos. I always have multiple on hand…just incase I run out. Of course, this list could have been way longer, but these are my staple items. I’m also doing my first giveaway! I want to share some of my favorite items with you. Learn more over on my Instagram.

Tuna

I always have multiple cans of tuna on hand. It’s easy to grab and throw on top of a salad, make tuna salad or eat out of the can if you need a quick protein in the morning. Finding tuna without soy or some other weird ingredients can be hard. I love Trader Joe’s brand. It’s simple ingredients and pretty cheap.

Frank’s RedHot

I normally don’t eat hot sauce, but since starting paleo, I crave more flavors and Frank’s is my favorite. It’s perfect on chicken (when I do eat it), mixed with mayonnaise and eggs. My true favorite is  Frank’s on eggs and potatoes. I always buy the biggest bottle because I tend to go through fairly quickly.

RX Bars

Oh man. RX Bars are absolutely amazing. It’s really one of those items I have to be super mindful about when I’m eating. Am I eating it just because? Or am I truly hungry? I’ve done really good lately of saving these for after work, but before a workout. It’s the perfect little something to hold me over until I can eat dinner.

Silk Cashew Milk

I really wish I made my own cashew milk…I really do, but I feel like I’d go through it way too fast and constantly be making it. Every morning I pour tons of Silk Cashew Milk Unsweetened Vanilla in my coffee. Creamy coffee is my favorite and this is how I make it. It’s also a great substitue for cow’s milk in random recipes!

Mayonnaise

I try to make my own mayonnaise more often than not. It’s easy to make and use when I’m craving tuna salad, but sometimes I’m in a rut and need something easy. I’ll use a scoop of this mayonnaise in with my tuna for a quick tuna salad. Unfortunately, it does have canola oil, so it’s not recommended for Whole30.

Olives

Olive bars are truly my best friend. I always make sure to have black olives or a random mix of olives on hand for a healthy fat. I can only eat so many avocados before I’ve just had it, and olives are an easy grab and go choice.

AND announcing my FIRST giveaway!

Do you love the items I mentioned above or have you been wanting to try them? I’ll be giving away some Tuna, RX Bars, Mayonnaise and some other Whole30 goodies! To enter, visit my Instagram, follow me and in the comments share one of your Whole30/paleo must haves and tag a friends who has helped you through Whole30. That’s it! I am so bad at making my own mayo! It looks perfect at first, but after a day or two in the fridge it becomes really hard and then separates when I go to use it. I think maybe my fridge is too cold? Anyway, I’ve come to really appreciate Primal Kitchen mayo because it’s whole30 compliant and uses avocado oil! It’s a little pricey compared to regular brands, but the convenience is worth it for me.

I’ve never done a Whole 30 and I’m honestly a little scared to try it, but I could probably eat anything with Frank’s on it! 🙂

I’m not doing Whole 30 but I LOVE RX Bars. They are so good and so filing. Actually, I eat a lot of all of those things, maybe I should do Whole 30.
